WE STAYED IN: Family connecting room (2 twin rooms)
KIDS AGES: 7-9
PROS: Close to airport, complimentary shuttle bus.
CONS: Very old

Our stay at the ANA Crowne Plaza Narita is a great option for travelers wanting a convenient base close to the airport.
The standout feature of the hotel is undoubtedly its location to the airport, a complimentary shuttle bus, the indoor heated pool, and the 24hr convenience store in the lobby.
The rooms themselves are spacious by Japanese standards, providing a western style layout with enough room for luggage. However, they are also very dated, and this aged feel is especially noticeable in the bathroom.
Storage and living space are definitely not an issue, but the interior decor would certainly benefit from a fresh and modern renovation to bring it up to speed.
Aside from the proximity to the airport, one of the best things about the property is the 24-hour convenience store located right in the lobby offering ready made food, snacks and souveniers. It is a welcome feature for guests arriving on late flights or heading out early onto their next journey, making it easy to grab snacks and essentials at any hour.
A complimentary shuttle bus operates on a timetable with a circle route from hotel to the local shopping centre, the airport and back, and the pools is large and well heated with a modest gym on site.
Breakfast is included with a wide range offered as a buffet.
For travellers who are willing to sacrifice luxury for high-convenience with proximity to the airport, it remains a good choice.
