Our stay at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran is a great option for a family wanting a fun and relaxing base in Bali.
The standout feature for families is undoubtedly the massive pool area, complete with inflatables that do an amazing job of keeping the kids entertained for hours.
The kids' club is also fantastic, providing excellent activities and space for children to enjoy.
The service throughout the resort is incredibly warm, with very friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay memorable. A particular highlight was the daily surprise left by housekeeping, who crafted delightful animal shapes out of the towels each day, a huge hit with the kids.
Another must-experience feature is the daily chocolate hour, which is absolutely epic and not to be missed.
When it comes to dining, the on-site restaurant is good if you stick to the local cuisine, though the other styles of food tend to fall below average.
Fortunately, there are a few shops within the immediate resort complex that offer alternative food options if you want to change things up. There is also a roof top mexican restaurant as part of the hotel that is highly recommended.
For a bit of relaxation, the on-site spa is a great addition; while it charges Western prices, it delivers a top-tier, premium experience. For families wanting a comfortable, kid-friendly getaway with excellent amenities, it is an excellent choice.
